6" x 6" Original Acrylic/Mixed Media Painting in a black frame

These little gems capture my childhood of going home to an empty house. Who remembers growing up in the 70s, coming home to any empty house because both parents worked. The key was under the mat, better yet we didn’t even lock the door. I would grab a snack or bowl of cereal watch some tv then head out to play with friends. Had to be home by 6:00 for dinner, no matter what.

Every time I create one it puts a smile on my face and brings back childhood memories. I hope they create that same giddy sensation for you.
