My artwork graces the lobby, hallways, and boardroom of the luxurious Symphony House condominiums in Center City Philadelphia. The building towers over the “Avenue of the Arts” mixing the residential with urban culture. The Kimmel Center concert hall adjacent to the building lends its name, and Schaller incorporates musical motifs into the artwork as well.
True artists always find inspiration all around them. Schaller identifies each client’s need, determines the best creative tools to fulfill that need, then surpasses all expectations. Budget and quality are never sacrificed.
Using stock photography as his main imagery for this project, Schaller worked with collage, textures, colors, and hand drawn gestures to create rich and layered pieces. Custom-sized prints inspired by 1920s travel posters adorn every area.
Schaller, in collaboration with the project’s art consultant, was able to take advantage of focal points within the space and, using the nuances of common themes, bring life, excitement and a harmonious feel
to luxury living.
