GBUILD - EXTON, PA
"Having never commissioned a piece of art, we had no idea how the process would work or what to expect. For our new office, we did know that we wanted something special and personal but had no idea how to communicate what that meant. As a commercial construction business, we wanted our office to reflect who we are and to be showplace for clients and colleagues. Living in the area for a long time, we were familiar with Jeff’s art and could always identify his work – the “Schallerization” effect.
Our direction to Jeff was that we wanted a conversation piece, something that “POPPED” with color and interest and could be seen throughout our office.
Jeff made the process simple and fun and over a couple of conversations (with drinks) we were able to identify things that are important in our work and personal lives. Jeff was always more than willing to make revisions when we changed our minds, offered suggestions and was always professional and responsive. He visited our office while under construction to get a feel for the space and made sure that the art was integrated into our vision.
Jeff nailed it! Blueprint, Blue Hen, Blue Crab is everything we wanted and more than we expected. We’ve been “Schallerized” and couldn’t be happier."

THE MAKING OF - QUARANTINI DREAMIN'
I create textural art pieces which incorporate representational form with the printed word. In essence, the visual and written symbols merge to create a unique aesthetic language that is both provocative and whimsical. My multiple-image pieces, with images ranging from polka dots to popular culture, evoke emotions and memories in the view. The combination of images tells a story and provokes a personal exchange between the art and the audience.
